Note that this boss fight is optional and is not required to complete the story. Repeat this process two times and you will defeat The Dark Eco Plant and earn a power cell. The Plant will then go back to its defensive state upon damaging it, sending out an additional Aphid Lurker in each phase. This exposes its weak point at its chin use this opportunity to jump on the leaves to reach the head and either punch or spin-kick it. After defeating all of the lurkers, the Plant will lift its head upwards and spread out its several leaves. The lurkers could be easily apprehended by punching or kicking them when their spikes remains inside their backs. To avoid the Plant's biting attack, simply avoid in getting too close to it and stay on the outer circle of the platform as long as possible. They form spikes on their backs and will damage you if attempted to attack them while in this state. In addition, it also sends out Aphid Lurkers as its defense mechanism.
Its main attack involves with biting you if approached at a certain close range. Inside the Forbidden Temple, you will eventually encounter the Dark Eco Plant in one of the paths.
